Back from California, the wedding was a blast, it was a crazy week overall. I’ve seen more of californias roads than Ill see in my next lifetime but all in all it was fun. the first day was just getting settled and just seeing around. we ate at a burger place that was interesting, basically you get a list and pick out what you want on the burger , well me not sure about anything I followed the lead of keith and ordered the 2/3 pound burger not knowing what to expect. Little did i relize it was his first time ordering from there as well so we both got surprized by this monsterous burger. Its a good thing 1 pound burger was not ordered.
the next day we alot of running around – getting everything for the wedding setup. plus the bonus dance lesson, as for the wedding jimmy and Diana were getting ready trying to stay out of the way plus helping where i could. they really pulled together the whole dance and I added my moral support like the guy from waterboy.
As far as coffee out there your choices are fairly limited to either Starbucks or your occasional local shop, as far as starbucks though no matter where you go for that coffee you have to take out a 2nd mortgage on your home.
The second day consisted of another dance lesson with a flying elbow of doom, and more final preperations. I’ve met so many people there that I was screwing up names . but i got to take more of a look around the area.
the 3rd night was interesting to say the least , diana and jimmy booked me at the cypress hotel in cupertino, Ca. that hotel was really Nice. but for being alone that night it was an experience in itself, at first i went down to the lobby and outside to find my way around. before that was the recital dinner so at a chinese resturaunt and Keith myself and rek , pretty much made our way through the menu with questionable results of what was what, we did not get too adventerous on some things but i made somewhat of a dent. After the dinner we made our way to the hotel and I made my way around the hotel to have a slight adventure in california with the traffic light of randomness. I hit the button and expected the light to change to the little walking guy symbol … not so much, instead it changed to a flashing hand and i was like WTF, as cars were honking there horns at me. confused i ran across the street and made my way into a convience store. After getting some snacks i figured i’d forgo the confusing crosswalk and run across the street, Almost bad idea. as was making my way across a police car is driving by slowly, me thinking that a call for me getting a ticket for jaywalking was crossing my mind, After that mini-adventure i decided to stay at the hotel and find my way around inside. Eventaully finding my way to the hotel bar i sat down and relaxed there and just got the edge off by trying a few drinks that i normally dont go for.
Wedding day, Me realizing i needed some sorta haircut because my hair had looked like a landmine had gone off in it . the hotel recommended a place AJ salon , not knowing exactly where to go i busted out using the phone GPS, I had found the place around 11:30 am but they were not accepting anymore people which was agravating . so finally ended up at supercuts which I do not like supercuts for the random factor they have , Once you get a good cut and other times they seem to use a chainsaw.
The wedding was really good, everything went as planed without a hitch .. well yes one hitch .. Diana and Jimmy getting hitched. Keith as Minister of the internet conducted the ceremony, I met up with the Jebi, or the jebus’s andy heric and jaie. I was really happy to meet up with them, and having a table next to the main table.
the Dance went off Perfectly the wedding i spent alot of time getting to know everyone that i’ve known as a charicter on a game in real life but, I Really really enjoyed the time i spent with everyone.
